DEI: The Movement that Dehumanizes, Excludes, and Isolates Those Who Need It Most

Who was the DEI movement founded for? At first glance, you might think it was “people like me,” a phrase too often used to highlight arbitrary features like the color of one’s skin, not substantive qualities like the content of one’s character. I check more minority boxes than anyone I know, yet I don’t feel that DEI was ever meant for me.
